Saturday In-hand Classes, May 12 Always tough classes to photograph with the amount of activity around the horse (e.g. chain yanking, handlers hand in front of head, judge in the way, judges legs coming out from under your horse, etc.,). Therefore, I don't spend a lot of time photographing these classes. If you would like a nice, posed halter shot out behind the red barn with a nice onobtursive background, please just ask me. There is no charge and you only pay if you want to order a print which is how I approach the entire show. |
Saturday Longe Line, May 12 All horse's photos are grouped together. Horses are generally presented in the order they were showed. The horses really should be moving faster and more in a rhythm than the time allows for each horse when being judged. The best way to get a good lunge line shot is during practice where the horses are allowed to cantor or gallop for more than just two circles in one direction. If you would like to get a good lunge line shot, just ask me and we will go to the second ring where you can let your horse open things up some more and take the slack out of your lunge line. |
